College Point, NY

We recently moved our autism center to a bigger space in April 2023 in Queens, New York. This new center has many rooms for our students to receive individual therapy and a cafeteria area where the kids can enjoy their break. In addition, we have a common room where we host group activities, art projects, and classes with our therapists/teachers. Each room has a laptop and other essential materials that will help the child and teacher during their therapy session. Last but not least, we have a sensory/mobility room. Here we work to sharpen their motor skills with many different toys and methods.

The program we implement in the center differs from others. We start the day with our students at their homes to familiarize them with their schedule and morning routine. Then, after the Sparta shuttle transports them to the center, we continue the therapy until the day is over and they are transported back home.

We are receiving new students and look forward to sharing more progress and updates from this location.
